We recommend that you arrive in Tunis at least one to two weeks before classes start.
DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL AID?
At MSB, we are proud to have the “EXCELLENCE WITHOUT EXCLUSION” program to reward academic performance. Brilliant students with a modest family income can receive financial aid, up to the full cost of tuition.
What if I need medical assistance?
There is a nursing station in MSB’s foyer. It is fully equipped to help students who might need medical assistance. MSB is located five minutes from the Hannibal International Clinic.
What do I need to do to open a bank account?
In order for you to open a bank account, you have to present yourself in any bank agency with:
- A copy of your certificate of registration at MSB.
- A copy of the first page of your passport.
- A copy of your “carte de séjour”.
You can receive money from your home town by bank transfer once you open an account. You may also use the more expensive Western Union service in Tunisia.
We recommend that you bring cash or preferably international credit cards to help facilitate transactions until a local bank account can be opened.
CAN I EXCHANGE FOREIGN CURRENCY?
Upon your arrival in Tunisia, you can exchange your foreign currency in the airport banks (open 24/7).
HOW DO I HANDLE HOUSING? WHAT IS THE COST OF LIVING?
MSB is located near many facilities in Lac II near to the northern suburbs of Tunis (La Marsa, Sidi Bou Said, Carthage, Ain Zaghouan) where you can find many housing opportunities.
MSB provides a Housing Office to support the international students with their relocation to Tunisia (including reception at the airport, support in housing & residency procedures including the “carte de séjour”).

HOW DO I FINALIZE MY ADMISSION?
Upon your arrival, you are required to present yourself to our Admissions office where our team will help you finalize your admission at MSB.
To do so, you have to submit the following documents:
- The original copies of your transcripts and diplomas (or any other document you sent via fax or e-mail).
- A copy of the first page of your passport.
- A copy of your residence permit if applicable.
What are the required documents for a residence permit?
It is compulsory to fill in a request for a residence permit shortly after your arrival (within a maximum of one month).
Below is the list of the required documents (to submit to the police station serving your area of residence) to obtain a residence permit:
- A copy of your passport.
- A copy of your registration certificate at MSB along with a copy of the receipt of payment of MSB’s tuition fees.
- A copy of your lease or proof of residency.
- Two photos.
- Two revenue stamps of 10 TND (to be bought at the “Recette des Finances”.
- (All the copies have to be certified by the city hall)
